7 things to do when you're feeling like things suck

Our thoughts change so quickly, one moment we can feel like we're on top of the world, and the next we can feel like our world has tumbled down around us, leaving us to wonder what on earth we can do to get back on track.

So I've come up with a list of things to do when things feel crappy, these things can help me turn my thoughts around and put me back onto a happy track!  Yay!  For me as a mum, these things need to be easy so that I can do them quickly and then get back to child wrangling :) Hopefully there's some ideas here for things you can try out yourself!

Getting some fresh air down by the beach

My list of things I can do when I'm feeling a bit crappy include;
    1. 1. Have a cup of tea (my faves are Peppermint or Chamomile)
    2. 2. Go outside for at least 5 minutes and get some sunshine and fresh air
    3. 3. Close my eyes and take 5 deep breaths
    4. 4. Put on some funky tunes and have a dance party with the kids
    5. 5. Give someone a hug
    6. 6. Say an affirmation - "this too shall pass" etc
    7. 7. Grounding/earthing - get my bare feet onto some grass/sand/any earthy surface and reconnect with nature

I find these things really work to help make me feel refreshed and revitalised, and leave me feeling ready to get on with my day!
